Q. Will the Butler work with my portable above-ground spa?
A. Yes, if your spa has 18" of clearance behind for the cover to fold and rest. If your spa will not accept a Cover Butler, go to the Cover Valet.
Q. What if my spa is an octagon, oval, round, or kidney shaped?
A. You must add an adapter kit for these shapes. You may also attach the Butler to your deck rather than your spa.
Q. Will the Butler work with my spa cover?
A. Yes, if your spa cover folds in half with a vinyl hinge. Your spa cover should not be damaged. Damaged foam core inserts may have added significant weight and make them too heavy to lift. If this is the case, repair or replacement of your spa cover is advised.
Q. Can I install the Butler?
A. Yes, it is an easy 20-30 minute installation.
Q. What is the Butler box made of?
A. The Butler frame is made of anodized aluminum for long life. The hinge blocks are plastic molded. The hardware is stainless steel.
Q. How long is the Butler warranty?
A. The Cover Butler has a limited lifetime warranty. Coverage is limited to the original purchaser.
Q. How is the Butler packaged and shipped?
A. The Cover Butler is packaged in a 3"x20"x57" sturdy white cardboard box with color graphics for display and is shipped via UPS.
Q. Does the Cover Butler lock?
A. The Cover Butler is not lockable. Every spa should be equipped with a safety spa cover that locks.
